The Crossroads/Halls of Gygax[edit]

The Crossroads is the intersection of all the planes. It is a bleak place, a rift inbetween the planes, where stands a quaint little shack with a door sign that reads, "Halls of Gygax, creator of all things..." This magical shack is much larger on the inside. There is a library that contains all the knowledge in the universe. Also in this library is Gygax's legendary quill and parchment, which the great god Gygax used to create all that exists in the gaming multiverse out of boredom, just so he could go adventuring. Everything was once an idea of the great Gygax. The Halls of Gygax are also lined with a multitude of mirrors, each one leading to a separate plane or world. There are countless rooms with beds, and also a room with a gigantic hot water bath. There is also a banquet hall with tables lined with assorted food and the finest wines and ales, all of which automatically replenishes when the room is re-entered. On one of the tables next to a silver platter of turkey lies a scrap of parchment that curiously reads: "Dear friends, I will be out for some time on another one of my adventures. My home is your home, enjoy your stay and eat your fill. Perhaps we will meet someday, I wear many skins and speak many tongues. May you have luck and glory in your adventures!" Gygax, master of adventure
