Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Favoured enemy is campaign specific so should be moved to feats. Deletagtion adds another two unconditional skill bonuses on top of the normal racial bonuses, this is overpowered. Intuition copies the half-elf trait.

Sahti Waari are a proud and honor bound race who are half-drow and half-Illithid who where created through a dark ritual thousands of years ago. They are looked down upon by both drow and Illithids, often seen as inferior or weak. They are often captured from there homes and brought into Illithid and drow slavery. For the last 800 years the Sahti Waari have been at war with the Illithids and drow races, often killing them indiscriminately whenever the opportunity arises. Sahti Waari have deep roots in blood shed and freedom fighting, they are more than willing to help any good cause and shun evil.

Play an Sahti Waari if you want...

  • To be half-Drow and half-Illithid
  • to be a race that has a deep rooted history of oppression
  • to gain a bonus against fighting drow and mindflayers
  • To be a member of a race that favors the Paladin,Warden,Invoker and Shaman classes.

Physical Qualities[edit]

Sahti Waari are a humanoid race who are a tall and rather tough race although it doesn't seem like it. They have a rather blueish tint to there otherwise pale skin, there skin is very soft but dose not scratch easily. All members of the Sahti Waari race have tentacles that grow from the tops of their heads that on first glance looks like blue chords of hair. Often Sahti Waari will tie these back too keep them out of their eyes, which are often a gray, yellow, or blood red color, occasionally some may have their eyes blacken after the age of 45, these Sahti Waari fall from the light and plunge headlong into gibbering insanity and spew terrible curses, sometimes they are driven to cannibalize there own race. These fallen members of the Sahti Waari society are put to death before they can cause anymore damage. Sahti Waari can live for up to 200 years before they die, but they dont "grow old" like humans do, after a Sahti Waari matures (at the age of 35) they will look as they do for the rest of there lives. Unlike there cousins the Illithid's, Sahti Warriors reproduce through intercourse between male and female Sahti Waari, an egg is then laid within the next 7 months that hatches into a small child.

Playing an Sahti Waari[edit]

Sahti Waari are often forced into adventuring rather than wait for illithid or drow slavers to march into their settlements, however Sahti Waari that make it into larger cities usually become merchants or thugs for higher.
