Talk:Wyvern Lord (4e Class)

From D&D Wiki

The features need some clarification.

"Wyvern Wrath: When the Wyvern Lord's wyvern is attacked, roll a d20. If you get 15+, you get to counterattack with a d8."

So what we have here is actually a class feature power: An at-will immediate interrupt. But how does the counteract work? Does it work against ranged attacks too? Bursts and blasts? What does the d8 do?

"Wyvern Legends: When a Wyvern Lord is near another Wyvern Lord, he gets +3 to all dice rolls."

In a game where a +1 bonus to one thing is a big deal, this is very overpowered in a party of all-wyvern lords; it also incentivizes the players to form a party of all the same class, when the opposite should be true. Marasmusine (talk) 15:11, 8 October 2012 (MDT)

Okay, also, "Elemental" itself isn't a power source. Elemental magic is either Arcane, Primal or Divine. Marasmusine (talk) 09:48, 10 October 2012 (MDT)

Balance[edit]

Why, may I ask, the page is unbalanced? The power source (Elemental) and features were fixed some time ago, and I have recently fixed every unbalanced power. --PokeLinkEs (talk) 03:10, 30 November 2012 (MST)

you could change the THP in the unbalanced power in question so that it only lasts one round. "one ally within 10 squares receives an amount of temporary hit points equal to your Strength modifier, these temporary hit points last until the end of your next turn." This makes it so that you cannot build up THP beyond a reasonable amount. --Thandamanium 10:20, 8 February 2018 (EST)
