Talk:Wyvern Bone Armor (5e Equipment)

This is essentially splint, but with three times the cost and a Strength requirement of 13 instead of 15. SirSprinkles (talk) 03:14, 2 January 2017 (MST)

But, Druids can potentially wear it. If they take Heavy Armor Proficiency. I think it's reasonable, especially when you get to walk around wearing a dragon corpse. How awesome is that?--Dorlon (talk) 09:39, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

Okay, so apparently this has been changed to cheap (and possibly Druid-friendly) plate armor. That you get your full dex bonus with. It's heavy armor, it should give no dex bonus, which means it should just be a clone of plate armor, but with the potential to be Druid-friendly. I think that is a good idea, but the cost should be more than plate. As-is, this is a ridiculous way for a dex-Fighter to easily get an AC of 25 without any magic (26 with the defense fighting style). If it is supposed to be better than plate, then give it AC 19 (no dex) and increase the cost to like 3-5k (at least). Yes, that one point of AC is worth a few thousand gold in 5e.--Dorlon (talk) 15:43, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
