Talk:Vanguard (D20 Modern Class)

What is this, exactly? I gather it's d20M, but it doesn't follow any conventions: proficiencies are wrong, it's unclear if it's a class or advanced class, it has 20 levels, and it's missing reputation, for starters. It's also woefully incomplete. JazzMan 00:44, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

It's a mass effect class that someone didn't finish

Clearly combining Mass Effect and d20 Modern is needed, if only this person finished it! So sad... Its a good start though. Besides cutting the levels in half and adding a reputation, may I suggest modifying the powers to existing Psionics that gain strength as the character levels up? Allow the character access to all the abilities at level 1, but upgrade them as they progress. For instance Barrier works the same as Lesser Natural Armor ([1]) but adds +1 AC every 2 Class Levels. Or Throw works the same as Lesser Concussion ([2]) multiplying the dice every two levels and has the ability to knock the enemy prone. --Crimsonquill07 (talk) 16:56, 9 May 2013 (MDT)

I noticed this hasn't been touched since 2011, so I took the liberty to edit it myself. I believe the Rep/Defense points are too high, but I am unsure if they should be mirroring a Mage or a Soldier or Psionic Agent? --Crimsonquill07 (talk) 17:56, 9 May 2013 (MDT)
