Talk:Utility Harness (3.5e Equipment)

I don't get the utility of this harness. The standard version allows you to carry 10lbs for a total weight of 15lbs, and the masterwork version allows you to carry 15lbs for a total weight of 20lbs. A backpack only ways 2lbs; your loads would weigh 3 pounds less and cost 7gp less. Lastly, there's no price for masterwork, but really at this rate a masterwork backpack should cost less.
