I don't think the drawbacks balances out the instill abilities, at least a 1 LA, if not 2. --Ganre 04:51, 26 April 2008 (MDT)

Not really, the only things that don't balance out are the two feats and the Share Spell ability. Greater Aid could be taken down to a +3, but that would make little difference. The Always Together ability gives a suitable penalty when away from each other and the Instill ability has a rather harsh drawback for spellcasters; die if the other dies on a failed fortitude save. And, you lose in equal amounts what you give. Definetly should not be a LA +2. At most, LA +1 for Share Spell and feats. --TK-Squared 05:11, 26 April 2008 (MDT)
Just to make sure i have this straight, you thinks it's fine for a level 10 character to end up with an extra +5 to hit, share personal spells(look up syncronicity, you'll understand why this ability bothers me). The drawback on instill is a DC 5+character level, again, if this happens at level 10, DC 15 fort save is pathetic. at least 10, if not 15 base(though if you do 15 base, it should be 1/2 character level instead of full). Also, maybe incorporate the level of the instilled power into the DC. But back to the original point, sharing spells can turn into a really ridiculous, and by itself is worth 1 LA. and, in my opinion, instill bumps it to 2. Mental note, share spells should be Su, not Ex. --Ganre 11:09, 26 April 2008 (MDT)
And you have someone else end up with an extra -5 to hit and less spells. A DC 15 fort save is the fort save for Massive Damage. It's especially worse if you're a spellcaster; you have, what? A +3 to your fortitude save. Maybe a +1 to your Consitution, so that's +4. You half the time (10/20). And there's always the 5% chance of rolling a 1. I've already noted that I don't like Share Spell in it. --TK-Squared 14:22, 26 April 2008 (MDT)
I wonder which fantasy twins this is based on... it could be The Twins, or then again it could as easily be the twins. The Twins where defenatly better, especially since the author who wrote the book they where in actually took the time to develop their character, while the twins where not really very important, and I thought the book they where in a dissapointment.
I don't think that all the "as base creature) is really important... --Sam Kay 14:36, 26 April 2008 (MDT)
Oh, and there is also the Clayr twins... --Sam Kay 14:37, 26 April 2008 (MDT)

I didn't edit what can be done with this template, just made it clearer what it does and not such a headache to read. -- invinible

Two Characters?[edit]

Does this template give a Player 2 characters to work with? It seems it does. Either way, it should probably have some specific language about this in the article. reddir (talk) 20:16, 8 February 2014 (MST)

It doesn't. Marasmusine (talk) 00:39, 9 February 2014 (MST)
