Brushing Up[edit]

I'm going to do a few, minor modifications of the class to make it look a little better. Grammar correcting, capitalization of the class name (see SRD classes for an example), filling in of basic fields and the like. Nothing major. I will discuss any major (or minor) changes with you since it is your class. --Amber 00:21, 9 July 2009 (MDT)

I would also suggest changing the base saving throws to follow SRD advancement on the lines of "Good" and "Poor", described in PHB1 p22. Probably WILL as good, and FORT/REF as poor. --Amber 04:58, 17 July 2009 (MDT)

No Editing, Please[edit]

Formatting to fit your tastes is one thing, changing the BaB to that of a Sorcerer is a different. Please, no editing.

Power - 3/5 I give this class a 3 out of 5 because it has some very good abilities, but the DnD univers only has ~30 to 40 swarms, and very few of high CR, if more swarms were made of CR between 15-20, it would be much better. --Awesometologist 03:03, 17 July 2009 (MDT)

Wording - 4/5 I give this class a 4 out of 5 because It is rather well worded, but some things need elaboration, such as what constitutes a "step" in the hive mind commands --Awesometologist 03:03, 17 July 2009 (MDT)

Formatting - 5/5 I give this class a 5 out of 5 because everything is, so far, in correct format. --Awesometologist 03:03, 17 July 2009 (MDT)

Flavor - 4.5/5 I give this class a 4.5 out of 5 because it is delicious. --Awesometologist 03:03, 17 July 2009 (MDT)

I know some IP did a bit of it, but you can't rate your own class. Conflict of interest much? -- Jota 12:03, 17 July 2009 (MDT)
Agreed that one should not rate one's own class... but that IP was him. Just logged out. Oh well. It's being playtested now, so it may undergo balance changes once spots are seen in the class. --Amber 02:12, 18 July 2009 (MDT)

Nanobots, Roll Out![edit]

To the hivemind, via Lesser Hivemind: "Everyone, lend me your power!" (Silly, but you get my point) *Whole swarm assists, Swarmer is give +500 or w/e to the check*

Would this be possible? If so, perhaps add some caveat to stop it from happening? --Ghostwheel 03:44, 26 July 2009 (MDT)

Hm... I agree that the hivemind needs just a little more elaboration. Such as... say... noting that the hivemind could not grant bonuses or anything really out of the ordinary. So basically, "Attack, move here and there, what do you see" etc. That was probably not helpful... --Amber 01:54, 30 July 2009 (MDT)

Power - <<<5>>>/5 I give this class a <<<5>>> out of 5 because <<<the class provides an excellent way to range an enemy to death while staying safe, and in my case two rooms away >>> --Beelzebehemoth 20:27, 21 July 2011 (MDT)

Wording - <<<4>>>/5 I give this class a <<<4>>> out of 5 because <<<there is a small amount of ambiguity in the swarming cache piont system and the swarm's summoning cost and time limit >>> --Beelzebehemoth 20:27, 21 July 2011 (MDT)

Formatting - <<<4>>>/5 I give this class a <<<4>>> out of 5 because <<>> --Beelzebehemoth 20:27, 21 July 2011 (MDT)

Flavor - <<<3>>>/5 I give this class a <<<3>>> out of 5 because <<<not much has been put into the flavor of the class it has great potential i just think it needs to be looked at a little more. side note this would be an epic mainstream class, or epic(mostly because of ruin swarm) class>>> --Beelzebehemoth 20:27, 21 July 2011 (MDT)

Can i finish this?[edit]

Hello, I actually enjoy this class alot and was wondering if anyone is still working on it, and if so I'd like to at least create a list as to what swarms are usable...since there can be alot and hellwasps at level 1 sound raather frightening and i just want to know what exactly can be used..and some more abilities with this wouldn't hurt to much either. --BAU5
