  • a +3 ability score bonus is high but doesn't break the game. The races in the PHB have bonuses to two different scores (+2 and +1, or +2 and +2) so that you have several good class choices. A +3 to strength rather forces you into one kind of class. Would be nice if there were some racial traits that made other class choices attractive.
  • They have too many traits. Races could have two major traits and one minor trait, or one major trait and three minor traits, or thereabouts. This has a high ability bonus (minor), hard workers (minor), absorb earth (minor, you don't get it straight away), Dense (major; good defense that you can use frequently), Sturdy (minor), Stone Blood (major, immunity to common damage type), Tough-Skinned (Major). That's 4 minors and 2 majors.
  • Tough-Skinned should be something like "Your AC is 14" so that it doesn't stack with heavy armor or a class's unarmoured feature. Marasmusine (talk) 02:12, 2 May 2016 (MDT)
