I think I adopt it, the class need some revamp and maybe some formatting. --Lord Dhazriel 13:18, 25 November 2008 (MST)

I see the creator made some edits shortly after I adopted the class. IP Author can you please contact me, I need to know. If you change the class often I have hard time formatting it. I may ask you if you want your class back. Try to answer me please.--Lord Dhazriel 18:28, 26 November 2008 (MST)

Done editing if you want to format. ~IP Author

Mechanical Thoughts[edit]

I'm ambivalent towards the Shadowdancer mechanically. Their signature ability is completely blown out of the water by a Wizard or Sorceror with Dimension Door. Come to think of it, it's blown out of the water by a Horizon Walker. I'd suggest Shadow Jump be a spell-like Dimension Door (caster level equal to character level), keep the from-shadow, to-shadow limitation, and then put a recharge time on it and have the recharge decrease until they can do it at-will. Also, Shadow Illusion isn't that impressive since they're getting a 1st-level spell once a day. Admittedly, it's one of the better first-level spells, but, still. It could at least be at-will, and maybe have mirror image in on it. Maybe even work it up to Major Image. More interesting would be a 'shadowsink' ability that lets the Shadowdancer go into a shadow like it was an extradimensional pocket, and view and exit into the normal world through the shadow's shape like it was a door or window. Sort of like a Hide in Plain Sight that taps into the Shadow Plane. Add an ability to let them do Shadow Jump as a move action, and you're in business. Genowhirl 02:02, 27 November 2008 (MST)
