Formatting.[edit]

I was wondering if you could make all the races headers, so a table of contents would be made, and you could see all the coices easier. I hope I made sense... Green-Dragon

kewl idea, go for it. what do you think of the lists by the way? - Wolfen
Neat. I think it is awesome, great idea. Green_Dragon

License issues again[edit]

I hate to be the parade rain bringer... However, I think this page may be crossing into what probably violates the copyrights of WotC. I appreciate this material and wish we could allow something like this. I do know if we took out the racial abilities, favored classes, and ability modifiers but leave the book and page reference we'd be safe. Does anyone have anything to refute this? --Xenophon 13:47, 6 December 2006 (MST)

It most likely is encroaching on WotC copyright... I would PM (Through Wizards) Wolfen Fenrison, seeing that he does not go to D&D Wiki often, and if he does not respond in a week of so we can (?) delete this project. Does this sound okay? --Green Dragon 21:23, 6 December 2006 (MST)
Good with me. --Xenophon 21:52, 6 December 2006 (MST)
Just post here in a week, or when you have the response. I hope this goes well. --Green Dragon 22:36, 6 December 2006 (MST)
I finally got registered and sent a message off to him. Now we wait. --Xenophon 13:51, 7 December 2006 (MST)
Sounds good. --Green Dragon 22:21, 7 December 2006 (MST)
I am unaware of any copyright infringment, but by all means if anything on the list offends WotC I have no problem with Green Dragon removing it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wolfen Fenrison (talkcontribs) 12:39, 8 December 2006. Please sign your posts.
Just from the couple books I had on hand that you referenced, on the credits page the copyright and license information is present and states: "This Wizards of the Coast game product contains no Open Game Content. No portion of this work may be reproduced in any form without written permission..." I think we can use this page as an index for any non-SRD or OGL information on races. I'd also like to see a similar article on PrCs. Anyone else have anything they want to throw in? I'll go ahead and edit out the closed info. --Xenophon 11:58, 9 December 2006 (MST)
I cant think of anything, go ahead and change it. --Green Dragon 18:02, 9 December 2006 (MST)

Complete Psion, publication pages, and missing Classes[edit]

I do not see any of the new classes from the supplement, Complete Psion, including the one toward the end of the book (can't think of the name off the top of my head...), or Tome of Magic, for that matter.

Also, I noticed that some of our favorite publications do not have their own pages on this site. It might help to at least provide a page for each publication listed on the D&D official site, and include the following content on it:

  • Publication info (name, author, date published, size, pages, etc.)
  • links to publication info pages, art gallery(s), information (like Wikipedia pages, etc.) and decent sales web pages (like wizards.com, amazon.com, etc.)
  • synopsis of contents (without giving away the good stuff)
  • Category:Publications ?
  • Category:D&D Publications
  • Category:d20 Publications (for non-D&D d20 OGL content)
  • related D&D Wiki pages

Also, I have a d20 book by Penumbra/Atlas Games called, 'Occult Lore' that is way cool, and features d20 OGL content... I would love to include that on here, if possible. -- xido 03:40, 6 November 2007 (MST)
