Talk:Portable Guillotine (3.5e Equipment)

A non-magical vorpal weapon with fairly complex use. Allegedly an ancient Chinese weapon called a "flying guillotine" or "blood-dripper" of dubious historical veracity. It looks like a hat with teeth, and you either used it by putting on someone's head to decapitate them, or soak the thing in really nasty poison that could "kill at the sight of a drop of blood." You can see an "improved" version - the one this weapon is based off of - in the movie Master of the Flying Guillotine; it collapses like an umbrella and is wielded by a homicidal blind monk who demonstrates the difference between blindsense and blindsight.
