My brother, have you ever heard of the truenamer? You got a good idea going here but David Noonan beat you to it in 2003. Gimme your e-mail adress and I will give you the tome of magic file. The truenamer was a class designed around the same concept published in the tome of magic. Sorry Pal, beleive me I know what it's like to have an idea stolen. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by JohnnyCakes (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts!

Eh, the Truenamer in Tome of Magic is... very, very horribly designed. A new take on the concept would be welcome IMO. That said, while this class looks like it still needs a lot of work, it appears to be in progress, so I'd rather wait for it to be finished before giving an opinion on the class as a whole. --Ghostwheel 23:05, 24 July 2009 (MDT)
I am not familiar with either the truenamer or this class, but I agree with ghostwheel on one point. There is no problem with making variants or alternate versions and interpretations. --TheWarforgedArtificer 23:17, 24 July 2009 (MDT)
Although I do have the Tome of Magic, I am not to familiar with the actual classes that lay therein, other than the names and a basic idea of it. I got the idea of this from a manga called Loveless. (not that great of a manga IMO, but the concept is from that) It is sort of finished, but I know it is not that great. If you have any good ideas about how to improve it let me know. -Sarrow 23:57, 24 July 2009 (MDT)

[edit] Overpowered

Power Word ability. Lets say you can cast 5th level spells with a word. You could cast destruction as a free action as many times a day as you want! You could cast it a thousand times in your turn and kill an army... Unless I misinterpreted the ability, in which case I apologize :) --Vrail 20:45, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
