LA +3? that's it? uber. ~Edfriend

Not really. Honestly, a +3 seems overly expensive. I'd add in two HD, remove the Con bonus, and change the race to a LA +2. Even then, I'd have to take a much closer look to tell if it was even worth it. It's also worth noting that this page was made well over a year ago...Dragon Child 19:55, 2 May 2009 (MDT)
Ahhh, that explains it, thanks! ~Edfriend
This race is rather poorly thought out, and really more of a LA+2 (an imbalanced LA+2) race as is. A race with a spellcasting class as a favored class should really shy away from Level Adjustment altogether. It needs as few racial HD and LA as possible if it is going to compete with LA 0 races that offer the minimum necessary adjustments, and that, of course, is going to mean cutting and trimming some things from it while retaining flavor. A race that has all around better ability scores is just going to cost more for LA than the player needs to specialize in his area of expertise. I think I might give a whack at adopting this article and making this much more playable as it seems to be intended (as in, the idea of having a fiery race that gets some fiery racial spells and powers and is good at spellcasting). Any objections? --Ganteka 21:50, 3 May 2009 (MDT)
