I would rather think that the duration should be instantaneous, not permanent, else the spell would be subject to dispelling, thus negating the need for a wish or miracle.

Why the target of the spell cannot be revived by anything less tan wish or miracle, and what is the cleric revive spell? resurrection? raise dead? True resurrection? revivify? Does the spell also liquidate the target soul? Why is the duration permanent (as stated above)? --Lord Dhazriel 14:14, 25 June 2009 (MDT)
