Wow...do I dig this variant!! Well done! One point of note, shouldn't the headers say 'Greater than 10/5 below the DC', and not 'Less than...'? Of special mention, 'Bloody Mess' a great name that conjures fond memories of Fallout and Fallout II.

Keep the hits 'a comin!

Thanks! I have incorporated your feedback as well. You can always just go ahead and change my pages if you want. I can always revert things I don't agree with or create a new page if there is a different vision of how it should be.
I was thinking of Fallout when I made "Bloody Mess", also. Not that it is really mechanically similar, it fits the spirit of the Fallout trait. --Aarnott 12:01, 29 August 2008 (MDT)

Needs More[edit]

I'd include a chart for determining where the blow lands on the body in case of critical hits for the purpose of determining the negative effects. I've seen d12s with various parts of the anatomy replacing the numbers 1-12, but you could also use a percentile roll if you wanted. I also happen to know a great list of fatality descriptions for each body part can be found in Warhammer 40k Dark Heresy's handbook. It operates on a 1-10 scale, allowing you to use your failure system for choosing what happens. I can add a severity chart if you'd like based on those Warhammer charts. They are quite... vivid. --Regulus 09:15, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
