Talk:Half-Drow (4e Race)

A Few Things[edit]

Just a couple of suggestions:

  • Ability Scores: Instead of "+2 Charisma, +2 Any (other than Charisma)", you could say "+2 Charisma, +2 to any other of your choice". I think the wording just sounds better.
  • Spydric Origin: I'm not sure where this comes from, even pure Drow don't have this. If it is campaign setting specific you may want to note this. Otherwise I would suggest dropping it altogether.
  • Dual Heritage: I like this idea a lot, but the wording sounds clumsy. Maybe change "...with your “+2 any” ability score." to "at the time of Character creation."

Thanks for your time. -- Sepsis 15:00, 12 October 2008 (MDT)

Just noticed the Spydric element comes from your Arachonomican I do believe you should place a direct refference (and link) to this under the Spydric Origin, just to clarify. As well it should be noted as optional. Also I was thinking more about the Dual Heritage, I'm not sure if a half breed should be able to orginate from any two races. In this case a Half-Drow may be better limited to half Drow/half Elf, half Drow/half Eladrin, or half Drow/half Human. Any other combination just dosen't seem plausible or playable, without including some of the racial traits from the other race. Still please know this is all just my opinion. -- Sepsis 17:01, 12 October 2008 (MDT)
