Prior to my reconstruction, this page was either created by a child or someone who speaks English as a second language. I tried my best develop the ideas of the person and make it playable. He or she had some good ideas, I think, but it seemed as if an actual garl typed his own race description. Lol. I plan to try it out in a game I DM to see how it stands up to other races. There is just one problem- I think the garl is too inept to be a suitable PC race. I think you should reduce the penalties and give it at least one bonus. And I also think the racial fears thing is a bit too much- I would make it a penalty to diplomacy etc. --Sam Kay 03:43, 20 January 2008 (MST)

Groovy. I removed the irrational fears. I just created it to replicate the original author's ideas. I replaced it with an inability to wear medium and heavy armor. I also lessened the penalty to Focus of the Garl and Severe Ineptitude, gave it a natural attack and allowed it to have one HD without it affecting ECL. It may need an another ability for perfection but if you have an idea, shoot. :) --Chainer 18:21, 20 January 2008 (MST)

Though it wasn't completely my idea, thanks Green. The Tribal skills compensate for the low ability scores skill-wise and the Focus ability with the extra HD gives a garl at least two times a day to become very powerful. The times a day increases with each level. It may be weird and interesting, even perhaps a bit difficult. Certainly its a race to be played by an experienced player. I am going to put them into my next game as NPCs to see how well they work against the common races.--Chainer 18:28, 14 February 2008 (MST)
