Talk:Dual Dance (3.5e Feat)

This page looks markedly worse than it did before I deleted it. Please correctly format it and make it playable (i.e. usable with actual game mechanics, which most be hyperlinked to a source, even if it's to a WotC sourcebook publication page). It's entirely unusable as-is, but you'll have at least two weeks to start improving it :)--GamerAim (talk) 22:04, 24 May 2017 (UTC)

I was the original creator of the page and since you deleted it I don't recall what the original specific issue was. I have recreated the page to what I believe to be a satisfactory level. Please ask me to make any edits.--Kopaking (talk) 16:50, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
In terms of formatting, it should use the 3.5e Feat Preload, and remove your signature.
In game terms, "ability to dance" / "dancing ability" has no game definition. This doesn't actually do anything, unless it's for some class you haven't linked to. Marasmusine (talk) 17:14, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
Edit: It seems Marasmusine beat me to it and explained it better than I did! Original reply below:
The issue was that a) it was improperly formatted, b) that improper formatting was breaking another part of the site, c) I'd have fixed the formatting myself, but the feat wasn't properly explained. I have no idea what a dance is, as I don't think it's a core rules thing. So the first step is to clean up the look of the page. Go read through the help pages on formatting, then see the top of 3.5e Feats where that box is? Type whatever you want into it and it'll take you to a page showing you the proper way to make a feat. Read it over carefully, but don't save the page then copy what's in that text box over to the edit page for this' feat and fill in the blanks the way it tells you to.
Once you feat is properly formatted, then we can talk about the actual mechanics of it :)--GamerAim (talk) 17:22, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
I believe I finished fixing it, sorry for the previous errors—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kopaking (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.
Eh, it was close enough. I touched it up. Two pointers for the future: 1) Use the template like I did on this page. You just have to fill in the fields. 2) You don't put your name or signature anywhere on the content page. The history log logs your name, so all credit will go as credit is due :)--GamerAim (talk) 18:55, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
