wouldn't it be intresting if it was a swarm of level 10 warriors lol --Xdeletedx 08:30, 26 February 2008 (MST)

Also the maximum amount of damage should be 4 per melee attack and using a 10ft ranged weapon(ie spiked chain, halberd) should count as a 10ft slashing/piercing ray --Xdeletedx 16:09, 26 February 2008 (MST)

Creative![edit]

I think this is a very creative way to do tavern brawls. Kudos! Do you think it should instead deal nonlethal damage, however, but lethal to prone opponents (getting trampled)? Also perhaps it should automatically deal damage much like other swarms but have its damage increased by its hp. --Aarnott 09:46, 26 February 2008 (MST)

I'm glad you like it. I made an edit or two and noted where non-lethal vs lethal damage occurs. I considered having it autohit and damage increased, but then I realized these are just level 1 mooks, and not really a threat if you're high level. Only so many level one drunks can fit around you at once, and they don't grow any stronger, they just get bonuses to hit from (unintentional) aid anothers from everyone else. (The CR is a pain to measure, as the monster almost borders on environmental challenge instead of monster encounter. Huge hp, yes, but only a real threat to those hanging around it all day, or with few hp. If anyone with experience with CR could rate it clearer, I'd be much obliged.) -- Eiji 13:23, 26 February 2008 (MST)
