Comment[edit]

Dude, there are some serious failures going on on this critter :s.

The base stats are very good, an animal cannot have Int above 2 and 20 Dex is quite amazing. Fortunately, these high stats are counterbalanced by the fact that they don't seem to be used anywhere. Initiative is lower than its Dex mod, attacks have no Strength bonus on attack or damage rolls, and I'm sure I could point out more things if I had the time and would want to go back and forth repeatedly.

Now, I do not feel like I have the right to change something someone else made (without permission), so I just wanted to point out a certain lack of internal consistency here. The Fox entry seems to have the same problem. I like using templated or otherwise enhanced animals, so I hope other animals are more consistent.

I really like this wiki as a whole, and I do think better animal (or indeed all) entries would make it a better wiki. If I thought otherwise, I'd just have commented 'This sucks' and never returned. And I know it is difficult to prune things like this, so I'll be leaving remarks wherever I think something is going wrong, not to insult but so that it can be made better (preferably by someone with a better grasp of D&D stats than I have). Right; it's a wiki. Feel free to feel productive. --Green Dragon 22:50, 2 October 2009 (MDT)

The previous editor merely copy-pasted the SRD:leopard entry, giving it several erroneous tweaks. I have now redirected the page towards the original SRD:leopard entry, because that official entry was in fact designed to represent mountain lions/cougars/puma/etc along with other similar large cats.
