Frostburn much?[edit]

It reminds me strongly of the Knight of the Iron Glacier from Frostburn. I've seen parallel evolution happen too many times to automatically assume you've had/read book or anything. This Cavalier is pretty cool from my initial glance over. I'll review/rate when I have time to actually look at it. -- Genowhirl 14:40, 21 January 2009 (MST)

I remember the class you're talking about, but didn't base it off of that. Actually, its mostly parallel to Sam Kay's Spider Rider PrC just set in my homebrew. Soon I'll have the underwater and desert versions. Not really stolen from FB, SW, or SS, just because I enjoy that kind of setting breakdown. But thanks for the comments.   Hooper   talk    contribs    email   14:43, 21 January 2009 (MST)
Y'welcome. I look forward the aquatic and desert editions. This is a pretty good way to do mounted combat. This actually reminds me I once did a cold-focused Knight PrC. I have it somewhere, but the one of the major class powers was that any armor/clothing they wore froze over into an extra covering of armor, giving an additional 2 or 3 AC and negation of ACP penalty for swimming, at the cost of 1 point ACP for everything else. The ability was strong based on this picture: http://www.creativeuncut.com/gallery-03/sc4-siegfried.html-- Genowhirl 14:53, 21 January 2009 (MST)
