[edit] What is the CR?

What is the CR of this? CR 0 is not valid. --Green Dragon 23:32, 18 March 2007 (MDT)

Technically this creature should only appear as part of the Burning Blood (DnD Spell) spell. So really it is part of the caster's CR and does not have an individual CR (like any other summoned monster). If you want to CR it, I'd put it at 4 (Human warrior -- the acid damage is just a minor irrelevant detail). --Aarnott 10:04, 19 March 2007 (MDT)
The reason it should have a CR is so this creature can be used in more than one way. For one it can be the summoned creature for a spell and for another it can be the monster of a quest — fulfilling an entirely different purpose. It really boils down to whether of not you want this creation to be able to be used by people as a creature and not just as part of the spell. I think a CR should be given to this so it can become a creature as well. What do you think? --Green Dragon 22:44, 19 March 2007 (MDT)

[edit] Creature Template

Instead of the current template that this is using you may want to change it to the Template:Creature Table. The Template:Creature Table is made for creatures even though the stat block works for them as well. --Green Dragon 23:37, 18 March 2007 (MDT)

Well, I used the stat block because its stats are from a NPC class (Warrior). I put it as a creature because it is just a faceless creature. --Aarnott 10:03, 19 March 2007 (MDT)
Hm... The reason I would push for a convert to the Template:Creature Table is because it loads faster and looks a lot more like creatures in WotC books. I would vote for a change of the template, however if it is too much work do not bother. --Green Dragon 22:45, 19 March 2007 (MDT)
WotC is now using one format for both NPCs and Creatures. Fortunately, the load time has been dealt with. —Sledged (talk) 12:40, 19 May 2007 (MDT)

[edit] Too Many Feats

Unless this thing gets bonus feats, it should only have two feats. —Sledged (talk) 12:40, 19 May 2007 (MDT)

It is supposed to be basically human, but summoned by the Burning Blood spell. If you think it is unclear because I changed the subype should I change it to human? --72.142.254.84 22:25, 26 May 2007 (MDT)
Depends. Do you want them to be subject to effects that only affect humans (e.g. bane weapons, slaying arrows, and the ranger's favored enemy ability)? —Sledged (talk) 10:52, 27 May 2007 (MDT)
Yes, I think that works. They are supposed to be soldiers with some acidic effects. --Aarnott 14:03, 28 May 2007 (MDT)
