Unlike most lizardfolk, Strokov did not worship dragons, attack anyone in his territory without reason or a taste for humanoid flesh. He was that odd lizardfolk, who did what he must to survive. He trusted not his king, shaman or fellow lizardfolk, for their views were entirely different from his, and that none of them shared his love for adventure. On that fateful hunting trip/patrol, he and two other lizardfolk met the elves Varis Mountaindew, a wizard noble and future Lord Mountaindew from the Royal House of Mountaindew, of Mountainside, and his roguish twin brother Riardon. The two lizardfolk fought to protect their territory but were cut down by the duo's slashing blades and spells. Seeing this as an opportunity, he begged the two to let him join their party. Strokov never regretted that day and has since become a Mountaindew by name. A few months back, due to the fact he is exposed to magic daily, he learnt to cast basic magic. Now, he writes magical books that go to a place of buying goods.
