The standard boomer is massive hulking tough slow stupid and armed with a boomshot, (a massive grenade launcher), they bring fear to the battle field and are often brought in to break up stalmates break through enemy lines or just to mix things up.

battle cry' (Ex): Locust boomers are notorious for their battle cries. When a boomer walks onto the battle field it can sum up exactly what is going to happen when it gets started with one word. BOOOOMMM! a boomer can make a battle cry as a standard action once per encounter. treat this ability as a temporary frightful presence (with a normal duration) for which the boomer substitutes its charisma score for its strength score.

Tactics

Round 1: Battle cry

Round 2: stir up the battle field with boomshot by shooting at opponents who are hiding behind cover

Rounds 3 and beyond: keep distance of at least 40ft at all times, bombarding enemies with boomshot in an attempt to flush them out of cover.

note: will not shoot boomshot if enemy is within 10ft
