Stagnophobia (3.5e Trait)
From D&D Wiki
[edit] Stagnophobia
You have a fear of staying in one place for too long.
Prerequisite: You must have at least 12 constitution.
Benefit: +1 Con (from a great deal of walking), once per day/level the character can increase their speed as if they were effected by the spells Longstrider or Expeditious Retreat (players choice). For purposes of these abilities your caster level is considered to be half your character level + your Constitution bonus. This is an extraordinary ability.
Drawback: Every 24 hours that a character with this flaw remains in a single location (such as a city, town, village or dungeon) they must make a Will save DC 12 +1/per day after the first week for a maximum DC of 50. If the character fails the check they must leave the location within an hour, or suffer a -2/per day cumulative fear penalty to all rolls with a maximum penalty of -10. Once the character has left a location in which they failed a check they will not be able to return for an amount of time equal to 3x the time they were at the location. If a character leaves a location in which they have not failed a check and does not return for 1/3 the amount of time they spent at the location the DC resets.
Roleplaying Ideas: You always try to keep your party moving. You never stay in a town for more than a few hours. Your favorite line is "Can we get moving, guys?"
