Slender Child[edit]

A Slender Child is a person chosen by Slender Man and are bestowed upon similar abilities.

Making a Slender Child[edit]

Slender Children are best for stealth missions and work well in dark places and at night.

Abilities: Slender Children have many of the same abilities as Slender Man himself.

Races: Humanoids are the most likely to become Slender Children.

Alignment: Chaotic.

Starting Gold: Same as Rogue.

Starting Age: Simple.

Class Features[edit]

Slender Children are manipulators of darkness and mentality. All of the following are class features of the Slender Child.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency:

Any weapon with slashing damage and all light armor.

Automatic Language:

Slender Men and Children know the secret language known as "Slenderin" and also know Abyssal.

Spell-like Abilities:

Shadow Walk - Speed increases by 20ft at night or in shade. Can move through the shadows as if teleporting.

Shadow Limbs - Shadow limbs protrude from Slender Child's back. Gains one limb per level. Limbs have a claw attack that does +1d4 shadow damage/2 limbs to full attacks. Gains +1 Natural Armor and +1 Grapple per Shadow Limb. Max limbs: 8. Shadow Limbs act as bonus hands.

Shadow Cloak - Manipulates the shadows to create a cloak that shields it from sunlight.

Create Tether - Choose willing living creature to become humanity tether.

The Sickness - Enemies and Neutrals in area are affected by The Sickness. Fort save.

Fever and Blood Shot Eyes - 19. Speed is cut in half.

Nosebleeds - 15. Takes 1 damage each round.

Bloody Cough and Puke Blood - 10. Takes 3 damage each round.

Bleed from body cavities - 5. Takes 5 damage each round.


Slender Vision - Can see 120ft in darkness, including magical darkness, and sees a black aura around other Slenders.

Deja Vu - Target gets the feeling of deja vu, stopping them from making any moves for 1 round/5 lvls. Will save.

Slender Mark - Target is marked with the Slender Mark. Slender Child knows the targets whereabouts at all times and can Shadow Walk to their location. Will save, unless willing,(Caster level + Will Save).

Paranoia - Target becomes paranoid. Speed is halved, damage is halved, and will is halved for 1d4 rounds. Will save(Caster level + Will Save).

Child of Darkness - Shadow creatures in area become friendly to and protect the Slender Child.

Selective Visibility - Children and spirits are the only creatures that can see a Slender Child. Will save 10.

Create Proxy - Turn creature into Proxy. Will save 15. Slender sees and hears what Proxy does.

Slumber - Target falls asleep. Will is halved. Will save(Caster level + Will Save).

Proxy Bug - Creates Proxy in the form of a spider.

Slender Awakening - Slender Child becomes Slender Man. Gradually loses humanity(becomes Evil), face clears, and eyes becomes dark sockets unless a tether has been created. If tether dies, Slender Man loses humanity. If tether is resurrected, Slender Man recovers humanity. Limbs claw attack does +2d5 shadow damage per limb. Gains Spider Climb ability as passive.

Pavor Nocturnus - Transports target and caster to neutral dream world. Death within dream world means death in real world. Events in dream world happen in a split second in the real world. Will save(Caster level + Will Save). Lasts 1 round/5 levels.

Nightcast - Night falls over 1d5 miles of area.

Psychosis - Target has delusions and hallucinations. Believes enemies are allies, and vice verse. Will save(Caster level + Will Save). 7/day.

Amnesia - Target forgets all memories for the last 12hours/5 levels. Will save(Caster level + Will Save). 3/day.

Nightmare Shred - Shred the mind of sleeping target, killing them. Will save(Caster Level + Will Save). 3/day.

Playing a Slender Child[edit]

Religion: Slender Children worship Slender Man.

Other Classes: Slender Children are on edge when they are near holy classes, like Paladins.

Combat: Slender Children are best at being Stealthy.

Slender Children in the World[edit]

Slender Children are extremely rare. No more than ten exist.

Daily Life: Slender Children that want to control their abilities tend to hide from people. Those that enjoy being evil torture helpless people.

Notables: Malachi Efrain was one of the first Slender Children to exist.

NPC Reactions: NPCs that know the legend of the Slender Children fear them.
