Shyrids are the ancestors of humans, and look just like them. They are much more adaptable than humans, however, and possess a variety of other strange powers. They are mostly known for the sheer impossibility of any prophecy applying to them, and being prone to mutating.

- Type: Humanoid
- Shyrids gain a +2 to one ability score
- Size: Medium. As medium sized creatures, Shyrid's receive no bonus on attacks nor AC.
- Base Land Speed: 30 feet
- Shyrids receive one bonus feat at first level, and another bonus feat at second level.
- Shyrids receive Wild Talent as a bonus feat at first level.
- Shyrids receive eight extra skill points at first level, and two extra skill points every level thereafter.
- Shyrids choose one skill that is always treated as a class skill for them.
- Automatic Languages: N/A
- Favored class: Any
- Level Adjustment: +1
