[edit] Shekel Ring
The shekel ring is a small golden band worth 1 silver piece. It can be worn, and is common currency among the deeka (DnD Race).
In order to confirm its worth, these rings are marked with minting marks on the inside and out. Wearing a few is common practice instead of carrying a coin pouch for daily purchases, however, wearing too many is considered poor taste in fashion. Each finger can easily wear two shekel rings, including the thumb. So, a full hand would be carrying a single gold piece worth of gold.
