Sarli Paragon (3.5e Racial Paragon Class)

Sarli Paragon[edit]

A rare example of a civilized Sarli, a derivative race of Catfolk who live in the desert regions of Sol. Most Sarli are feral and tribalistic, and are met with suspicion and distrust due to their many acts of banditry and thievery.

Sarli are an offshoot of the Catfolk race that lives mostly within the desert regions of Sol, forming into tight-knit communities that rely on tribalism and shamans to govern their society. Life in the Sarli burrows is often tough, and the weak are often routinely culled by a system that rewards the strong; Stealing is allowed, so long as the other party can't stop you, and many other acts that would normally be shunned follow the same principles.

Usually considered a nefarious race, sometimes associated with the corruptions of Macha, the Sarli generally have an antagonistic relationship with most other races, although not all despise them, and not all encounters with Sarli are considered in the same harsh light as other war-like or unfriendly races, such as the Drow or Orcs. At best, they are often considered to be mischievous folk of the dunes; At worst, they are a menace.

For more information on the individual characteristics and preferences of Sarli, see the Catfolk page.
