The cost depends on both the poison and the item. Pricing magic items is always crazy tricky with this sort of stuff. I would compare the poison to a spell, deduce the spell level. Items that put you to sleep are sleep spells (or improved sleep spells), while items that kill you are Power Word Kill. You get the idea.
