Feats compendium[edit]

Would such a thing infringes copyright? If not, I think it would be worth doing it. We already have the NBoF, a compendium of WotC’s would be a nice addition and would help establish dandwiki as a reference.

WotC already has a compedium of their own feats. See the SRD main page. It should also now show up on the Feats page.--Dmilewski 13:43, 11 April 2007 (MDT)
here is the link to the WotC Feat Index if you are curious. --Green Dragon 20:46, 11 April 2007 (MDT)
Yes, I know it and use it (although I prefer better-layouted, officious versions). But to have such a list here would help making us a one-stop reference point and would also allow us to integrate NBoF and homebrew feats. Plus, the discussion page could be used for disambiguation. Yeah, I know is it a long work, but maybe that can be built over time.

If you would like to compile such I thing D&D Wiki would be more than happy to have it here, however.... I know I am not interested in adding it, and do not have the time to do such a thing. --Green Dragon 21:04, 12 April 2007 (MDT)

Crystalkeep was making pdf's to show indexes of feats, monsters, classes etc etc. Actualy works great. Though I doubt wizards approves. It makes for easy and quick power building. Without knowing all of the books out of your head... I do have to note: you are way better of if you actualy have the books! http://www.crystalkeep.com/d20/index.php enjoy--Damrus 08:06, 19 December 2009 (MST)

Uh...[edit]

Why is fast healing part of this table? Is that the name of an epic feat or is it misplaced? –EldritchNumen 17:55, 6 January 2008 (MST)

It was misplaced. Thanks. --Dmilewski 18:08, 6 January 2008 (MST)
Actually, there is an epic feat called Fast Healing, which grants the benefits of the special ability of the same name. —Sledged (talk) 19:30, 6 January 2008 (MST)

Buggy Link[edit]

the damage reduction epic feat's link links to an explanation of damage reduction, the property, and not to damage reduction, the feat. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.108.164.233 (talkcontribs) 00:28, 7 February 2008 (MST). Please sign your posts.

Fixed--Dmilewski 07:21, 7 February 2008 (MST)

Mounted Combat[edit]

The mounted combat link sends you off to the general mounted combat information page, rather than the actual feat description. This problem is also found on the Ride skill page.--Finfreeze 20:54, 14 March 2008 (MDT)

Got it. Thanks. —Sledged (talk) 21:09, 14 March 2008 (MDT)

Two Weapons Fighting[edit]

The link points to the "Two Weapons Fighting" article instead of the "Two-Weapon Fighting (Feat)" article. -- 82.233.252.130 13:11, 17 December 2008 (MST)

Nice catch and thanks. For an admin with the ability, the proper link should go to SRD:Two-Weapon Fighting (Feat).   Hooper   talk    contribs    email   13:32, 17 December 2008 (MST)
That is a GREAT catch! Thats been there for over half a year and no one has realised! (Also, I fixed it.) --Sabre070 16:44, 17 December 2008 (MST)
There are a lot of buggy links in the SRD that have been there for over a year ;). I just change them whenever I see them. --Aarnott 22:19, 17 December 2008 (MST)
Buggy links came from my automated linking. I must have added 20,000 links, so there are bound to be some outliers.--Dmilewski 20:00, 18 December 2008 (MST)

Adding New Feats[edit]

So lets say somebody has a lot of free time and wants to add a lot of feats to this page how would you go about doing that is there a particular reason that we have such a limited supply of feats and why so many of them are psionic feats or will I have to find another way to appease my feat fetish? Complicated Stares 21:43 December 18 2009 (MST)

99% of stuff wizardds created in't under OGL. we can't post it. --Name Violation 21:53, 18 December 2009 (MST)
DnD Feats (3.5e) or 4e Feats for your items/OGC items (from the book) of course. --Green Dragon 23:39, 18 December 2009 (MST)

Restoration of Fleet of Foot[edit]

Note that Fleet of Foot is in the SRD in the Divine section. The RTF version of the SRD has feats scattered about in five different sections: Feats, Monster Feats, Psionic Feats, Epic Feats, and Divine Feats. —Sledged (talk) 10:54, 27 October 2017 (MDT)
