An Allomancer burning Zinc is able to inflame the emotions of those nearby. This can be used to incite riots (hence the name zinc Mistings go by) or to enhance any emotion of the target. An Allomancer can affect a single person or all the individuals in a particular area. A Misting who can only burn Zinc is known as a "Rioter". And they are the opposites of Soothers, able to flame emotions to boiling points.

Abilities: Rioters rely strongly on their Charisma for their class features, and can benefit from a high wisdom score and high constitution score.

Races: Humans are the most commonly found Rioters.

Alignment: Any.

All of the following are class features of the Rioter.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Soother are proficient with all simple weaponsRioters are proficient with light armor..

Burn Metal (Ex): At the 1st level an Allomancer is able to ‘burn’ metal by ingesting a small portion. This is considered a swift action and is required to use any ability that extends out from the metal. As each metal burns at a different rate the table below shows how many actions can be used for each reserve of metal. Burning a metal of alloy that is impure may result in sickness or in the most extreme cases near death. Allomancers known as Rioters have the ability to burn Zinc, which allows them to inflame the emotions of those nearby. This can be used to incite riots(hence the name) or to enhance any emotion of the target. A Rioter can affect a single person or all the individuals in a particular area. This allows a Rioter to mimic the spells Rage or Fear at the expense rate of 4 actions per target.

Riot Foe (Su): A Riot can fan rage or the desire to harm in foes. By using an action worth of zinc, they are able to impose a -2 penalty to a foes AC.

Sprinkle of Desire (Su): The Rioter is able to push on emotions with a subtle touch now. He can now use and action of zinc to counter a Soother’s touch or impose a -2 on attack rolls from foes one the Rioter.

Boiling Rage (Ex):The Rioter can use this ability to activate the effects of Rage at the cost of one action. They can also cause foes to suffer from a lack of understanding in anger. Causing a 25% chance of targeting an ally instead of a foe.

Arua of Fear (Su): At level 4, a Rioter can now project the cold feelings of fear around them. This causes foes within 10 feet to panic inducing a 20% chance of missing to their attack rolls.

Explosive Emotions (Ex):At the 5th level, a Rioter can now work the masses with their subtle touch. While not affecting in combat directly it does allow a few key actions to be performed in the area (40 feet).

  • Courage bonus to AC equal to the Cha modifier.
  • Rally troops (Skaa or Noblemen) into combat. (DM Discretion)
  • +1 to DC resistance of all mind affecting spells casts.

Characters with ranks in knowledge (arcana/Allomancy) can research Soothers to learn more about them. When a character makes a skill check, read or paraphrase the following, including information from lower DCs.
