To cast this spell the caster must make a successful divine intervention check. If they pass they can continue as per a normal spell, however, if they fail their turn is wasted but they retain their 9th level spell slot. Due to the divine nature of this spell, it cannot be stopped or interrupted once started with nothing short of killing the caster.

It starts with a silent prayer, that moves to a whisper and then on to an opening verse of a choir that becomes a symphony of sound from the heavens as a vertical column of divine light consumes the area with such force that all cloud and storm alike is forced back causing a mile wide rift centered on the caster. The sound of a bell can be heard for the entirety of the next round. Each creature in a radius equal to your Wisdom modifier times 10, 300-foot-high cylinder centred on you that is within range must make a Constitution saving throw. Fiends and undead make this saving throw at disadvantage. A creature takes 40d6 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Any creature that is reduced to 0 hit points by this spell dies instantly, completely obliterated by positive energy.

On the next turn, the affected ground comes under the effect of the hallow spell for 24 hours manifesting a secondary effect of your choice.
