[edit] Portalist
Portalists are mages who specialize in teleportation magicks.
[edit] Making a Portalist
This class is generally for players who prefer supporting and supplying the party with portals and quick escapes. The teleportation can be used on any one, but if not used on the mage, the teleportee must pass a will save (DC 14) or be in a stun called Particle Shock for 1d6 rounds. All attacks done by the Portalist have no effect on his allies, unless dueling.
Abilities: Wisdom, Constitution, and Intelligence provide excellent power, focus, and determination to amplify the teleportation.
Races: Any race can be a Portalist.
Alignment: If good, the Portalist is trusting and compassionate. If evil, the Portalist is deceitful, lies alot, and is sinister. If neutral, the Portalist is, well neutral.
Starting Gold: Many Portalists don't carry money, as they can easily obtain money through selling portals.
Starting Age: As sorcerer

| 5 | You know he's magical. |
| 10 | You can buy a transportation ride from him. |
| 15 | You know about Portalists, but have no idea what they do after 6th level magic. |
| 20 | You know all about Portalists, and know one in particular. |
[edit] Portalists in the Game
As a PC: You support the party with portals, summons, and quick transportation! As a NPC: You will see them selling portals, or temporary transportaion, since they are typically businessmen.
Sample Encounter: You see a Portalist selling Temporary mounts as a taxi service. He is also selling portals to any location. If trying to convince an NPC Portalist to join the party: "BAH, I'll make more gold as a businessman rather than as an adventurer!"
EL : <-Encounter scenario and character info on sample NPC including stat block. The CR of the NPC is typically the same as the EL for the encounter.->.
