Weapon Proficiencies: Blunderbuss, Rapier, Pistol, Simple and Military
Bonus to Defense: +1 Fort, +1 Ref
Hit Points at 1st Level: 14 + Constitution score
Hit Points per Level Gained: 8
Healing Surges per Day: 6 + Constitution modifier
Trained Skills: Bluff.  From the class skills list below, choose four more trained skills at 1st level.
Class Skills: Thievery, Acrobatics, Athletics, Endurance, Streetwise, Intimidate
Build Options: Corsair, Buccaneer
Class Features: Sailing, Boardsides Attack, Tough, Pirate's Spirits

Hunters of mortal joys, whether by sea, sky, or spelljamming

Pirate Overview

Characteristics: Tough like a fighter yet sneaky like a rouge.
Religion: Undefined, but often Melora.
Races: Half Orc, Human, Half Elf, Halfling

Suggested Feat: Weapon Focus: Heavy Blade (Human Feat:alertness)
Suggested Skills: Endurance,Intimidate,Athletics,
Suggested At-Will Powers: <!-suggested two at will powers->

Take out as many enemies as possible from a distance or go in swords blazing

Suggested Feat: Far Shot (+3 squares for range weapon.)
Suggested Skills: Thievery(+2 to stealth check), Streetwise(can pass a DC to find useful info in a town or village.),
Suggested At-Will Powers: <trick shot(use ranged weapon and take no penalty from behind cover, 1W+strength mod, str vs. AC). Slash (hack with your melee weapon
for 1W+Strmod, str vs. AC->
Suggested Encounter Power: <Volly (fire 3 ranged shots for -3 to attack, roll for each shot, can shoot multiple targets, 1W for each shot, str vs. reflex)>
Suggested Daily Power: <Pierce (attack with melee weapon and subtract the enemies armor bonuses from AC, surpass the new AC for 2W+strmod, str vs. AC>

All pirates share these class features.

Sailing: +1 bonus to attack rolls on a boat,

Sea legs: No speed reduction when on boat based difficult terrain

Broadsides Attack: +5 to jump from one boat to the next.

Pirate's Spirits: Whenever you drink any alcohol and go into a fight you gain bonuses based on the type consumed.

Rum: +2 bonus to AC and Reflex but -2 penalty to attack roles

Whiskey: +4 bonus to Will but -4 penalty to fortitude

Mead: +1 attack rolls but -1 to damage rolls

Wine: +5 to damage rolls but -5 to attack rolls


Tough: Gain Toughness as a bonus feat (Corsair Specific)

Prime Shot: Gain Prime Shot as a Class Feature
