 Phantom Bird
You conjure up eight, horse-sized birds with saddles and armor. They caw impatiently and flap their wings as if ready to fly like the wind. A trail of dark purple clouds is left behind their path of flight.

This ritual conjures forth up to eight birdlike creatures. Each one is Large and can be ridden by you or any other character you designate during the ritual. These creatures can fly.
The mounts can fly up to 100 squares above the ground. The birds cannot attack or affect other creatures in any way other than to serve as mounts. Each bird’s defense scores are equal to its rider’s (or yours, if the steed has no rider). A phantom mount is immune to any effect other than damage.
A bird created by this ritual lasts for 10 hours or until it takes any damage. When the ritual ends, or when one is destroyed, the bird fades into nothingness and its rider lands on his or her feet in the bird’s space. If a mount is flying when it disappears, the rider descends safely to the ground, landing at the start of his or her next turn.
