The perma coal mines run deep under the Great Dwarven Union. These mines power the dwarven economy. Conditions here are hot and difficult. There are many abandoned tunnels. Accidents are frequent. The lowest class of all dwarves work here, the Black Dwarves, so named for the coal coal dust that covers them.
