The orcs presented in the Monster Manual is intensely unsatisfying. This is an orc variant that makes a lot more sense and is a lot more balanced with traditional 3.5 races.

[edit] Racial Traits
- +4 Strength, -2 Intelligence
- Humanoid (Goblinoid): Orcs have always been closely associated with goblins as "greenskins" and thus should be included as the same type.
- Medium-sized: As medium characters, true orcs have no special bonuses or penalties due to size.
- A True Orcs' base land speed is 30 feet.
- Darkvision out to 60 feet.
- Racial Skills: A true orc has a +4 racial bonus on Move Silently and Intimidate checks.
- Rage: A true orc can rage just like a 1st-level barbarian, once per day. A true orc with barbarian levels merely gains 1 additional rage use per day from this ability.
- Automatic Languages: Common, Orc.
- Bonus Languages: Goblin, Dwarven, Giant, Gnoll, Undercommon.
- Favored Class: Barbarian
