  1. The SRD only gives a means to determine costs and weights of weapons for Large and Small versions based on the Medium weapons. Any other supplied values are the author's best determination.

The Odachi are very long blades, mostly used for cerimonial purposes. Due to the unwieldy size of the blade, anyone using these takes a -2 penalty on all attack rolls with this weapon. If the user is on a horse or flying, he does not take the usual -2 penalty. In Helvruin campaigns these are most often found among the Torkk and Drakenbred races, as they both can gain the ability to fly through various methods. It is also a very encumbersome object, causing those who wear one to take an aditional -1 to their armor check penalty.
