Nymph, Variant[edit]

Of the fey, the nymphs are the kindest, helpful, and the most beautiful. Their beauty, their truly blinding beauty, is so captivating that even demigods and divine exarchs have sought the nymphs as brides. Nymphs are stunningly beautiful and have a deep bond with nature.

Description[edit]

Nymphs tend to look a lot like Elfs and are sometimes mistaken as Elfs. Nymphs weigh and are about the same height as Elfs. Nymphs speak Common and Elven. Not much is known about Nymph's children and since no male form of the species has been recorded more confusion is spread through scholars, though it has been repeated that a child of a Nymph will always be female, but this hasn't been proved. Stages of life for Nymphs are also unknown to many, yet there are theories that Nymphs follow the same path as Elfs but reach adulthood sooner and even become more developed at a younger age.

Playing an Nymph[edit]

Role playing a Nymph could be a rewarding experience or just a down right comedy show. Nymphs where designed to play on the sexual desires of players, so playing one may encourage uncomfortable situations for the controller of the Nymph. Though if your group doesn't mind or won't role play such situations a Nymph can be very useful in charming NPCs or disabling enemies in the beginning of a encounter. Nymphs can also be used the same way a NPC Nymph will help move a story along or help the group out of a confusing situation by merely asking a random person. Most people, excluding player characters, will also quickly trust a Nymph as long as she doesn't show her darker side.

Female Names: Scylla, Charybdis

Nymph Adventurers[edit]

Sample Nymph adventurers are described below.

Most Nymphs don't choose to be adventurers so a Nymph who does is both a rare and strange site. A Nymph may become an adventurer to serve another adventurer or because their the last of their group. Some nymphs could also become adventurers to revenge their lost homes which could have been burned by bandits.

Scylla, a Nymph Oracle, serves under a vampire guild master named Violet. Most of the time Scylla stays within the walls of the guild until Violet calls upon her services. Normally Nymphs would not be under the service of anyone, but violet turned Scylla into a thrall and commanded Scylla to practice the arts of Oracles. Currently Scylla is a Lvl 4 Seeing Oracle.
