Personality[edit]

Northern sergals are a strong fierce race that hail from the Tatola Plains. Personalities differ greatly from one individual to another, but almost are strong warriors and hunters who are known to berserk in the heat of battle, and some are known to have cannibalistic tendencies. Females are the dominant gender, commanding respect from males.

Physical Description[edit]

Sergals average height is around 6 feet 6 inches to 8 feet tall. Average weight is around 180 to 240 pounds. Sergals are often described as chimeras, they borrow various aspects of their design from many different animals. Their heads resemble sharks, their bodies are humanoid, their feet are akin to rats, their eyes look reptilian, and these are just skimming the surface. They possess very dense muscles, so do not be fooled by their scrawny appearance, and their legs are second to none in running ability. Sergal jaws are powerful enough to crush small prey to death, and even some larger ones if they can get their neck in their mouth, like powerful vices. Northern sergals are tall and very muscular. Northern sergals have fur that is grey, black, blue, or white. All sergals have one or more commonly two of these colors over their entire bodies in varying though simple fur patterns, usually one color across the back and another down the front with a darker color on their backs than on their front. Difficulty arises from the colors of white and black, as both subspecies share these colors, but the combination of black and white is only seen in northern sergals. A sergal that is all one color is very rare, but the possibility exists for all-white sergals of either race. Both races have eyes that range from grey to blue, the legendary golden eyes of Rain are the result of a mutation. Physically, northern sergals are one of the strongest races on Vilous. Nearly every living northern sergal was a soldier in the Clan Shigu army, with a very rare few working as smiths and ranchers, sparing only those that they absolutely must to keep the armies fed and equipped. When not wearing armor, northerners usually are either naked or wearing skirts, they generally do not care about modesty. Sergals still only hunt and everyone is a soldier unless they're a smith or someone else needed to support the war effort. Northern are also notable for practicing cannibalism, though only against their enemies, slicing their foes into chunks and treating them as they do large game. Sergals sometimes mate for life, where the females propose to the males through a ceremonial dance exhibiting their attractiveness and physical fitness, though others never take a life partner at all. Sergal children grow quickly, growing into a young adult by age ten, and most sergals die before they reach the age of twenty or thirty due to the various wars and harsh world they live in if a sergal is lucky to die of old age they can live to be well over 100. Busty sergals are well sought after.

Relations[edit]

Northern Sergals are know to be slightly cold to others besides their own race, but can happily be involved in jolly co-operation after their trust is gained.

Alignment[edit]

Northern Sergals are always at least some form of neutral, with many being more slightly more lawful due to the militaristic rule and society.

Lands[edit]

Northern sergals hail from the Tatola Plains, a cold wintry environment on a wretched and barren continent, filled with chill wind-swept plains, burning deserts and humid, undrinkable swamps. Utterly lacking in humanoid civilization and is home only to cruel and savage beasts. Needless to say, its a hard knock life. That at least was what outsiders once thought about it. That opinion has changed in the last century. The sergals united into a mighty empire that inflicted a humiliating defeat on the elves of the Fey. Sergals have learned powerful secrets from other nations, stockpiling them in a vast library devoted to PROGRESS! Once primitive tribes have developed a taste for foreign coin and now rent their mercenaries across the world. And they endure as they always have.

The sergals are on the march. Let the other races tremble.

Sergals don't have one religion, but most convert to outside religion.

Sergals have a first name, and a clan name. very simple. one of the best known names among the sergal race is Rain Silves

Racial Traits[edit]

  • Medium: As Medium creatures, Northern Sergals have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Northern Sergal base land speed is 40 feet

  • Berserk; While a normal person most of the time, whenever you're injured in battle quite a bit, you fly in to a rage.

  • Pheromones (Ex): Female Sergals have extremely strong pheromones which can be used to manipulate other creatures. Pheromones must be inhaled (Fort Dc 10+ the hit dice to negate), after which the sergal may use any of the following on that creature:
  • Cast-Iron Stomach [General]You can consume the most unpleasant fare without so much as a second thought.
  • Vore [General] You can make a grapple check to try and swallow another creature whole. If successful, you will begin swallowing your target. Roll d4 even
  • Automatic Languages: Sergal Bonus Languages: Common
  • Favored Class: Ranger, Fighter, rogue or Barbarian.
