Mountain Orc[edit]

There were those who dared ignore the powers of Baphomet among them. And it came with a terrible price.

Physical Description[edit]

Mountain orcs only vestigial traits from actual orcs. Their bodies have the same strong build with rippling muscle, minor intelligence, and tendency towards strength. However, they have been tainted with Baphomet's influence to a monstrous degree, infusing their body with the properties of a mountain goat, in the demon's image. They have shaggy hair on their bodies and hooves for feet. Like a tanarukk, they have massive horns on their heads

History[edit]

When tanarukks forced other orcs to mate with them, their demonic blood would stain the progeny for generations. This would usually cause tanarukks to be born at random. However, another possible product of the litter are the mountain orcs. They usually occur further down the generations, when the demonic blood really shows in the newborns. Due to their demonic tendencies, they come out nearly fully mature from the mother's womb, sometimes even tearing themselves out and killing her. Even tanaruks despise them and try to kill them. They therefore usually run off before they are discovered. A small gathering of them is rumored to have accrued somewhere in the Spine of the World.

Society[edit]

Like normal orcs, mountain orcs have a liking for slaves, which are usually travelers they capture off the roads. Their groups rarely exceed 20 due to their circumstance of birth and the many who want to kill them. Most are seen around the Spine, and they have been known to occasionally raid around the mountain base. Orcs sometimes are known to chase them on site, as they both inhabit around the Spine area. However, mountain orcs have strong legs which can carry them further and faster in jumps, allowing them to elude orcs.

Mountain Orc Names[edit]

Mountain orcs take orcish names, with a demonic twist, and they do not distinguish between genders.
