A creature with the power to draw magic from metal.
Mistings are beings with the power to draw magic from particular metals. They appear as normal examples of their type, perhaps with metallic breath or a habit of eating metal. Each misting can utilize one metal.
This article is part of the Allomancy Conversion Project.
[edit] Creating a Misting
Misting is an acquired template that can be added to any aberration, fey, giant, humanoid or monstrous humanoid. The creature (referred to hereafter as the base creature) must have either ingested alloyed larasium or have Snapped into their (existing genetic) power.
[edit] Size and Type
Size remains unchanged. The creature gains the allomancer subtype, in addition to any other subtypes it may have.

[edit] Special Qualities
A misting has all the special qualities of the base creature, as well as those described below. Allomancy (Su): A misting may pick one metal from the list of allomantic metals. They gain the ability to hold and use an allomantic reserve for the selected metal. Maximum allomantic reserve is equal to 15+(HDx2)+size modifier. If your size increases or decreases, so does your allomantic reserve. If this would cause your stored reserve to be greater then your maximum, you lose the excess.
