Class Features:[edit]

All of the following are Class Features of the Master Theurge prestige class.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The Master Theurge gains no new proficiency with any weapon or armor.

Spells per Day: When most Master Theurge levels are gained, the character gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in any one arcane spellcasting class he belonged to before he added the prestige class and any one divine spellcasting class he belonged to previously. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that he adds the level of Master Theurge to the level of whatever other arcane spellcasting class and divine spellcasting class the character has, then determines spells per day and caster level accordingly. If a character had more than one arcane spellcasting class or more than one divine spellcasting class before he became a Master Theurge, he must decide to which class he adds each level of Master Theurge for the purpose of determining spells per day.

Combat Casting: A Master Theurge recieves a +4 bonus on Concentration checks to cast a spell defensively, while grappled, or while pinned.

Master Specialist: In order to better understand and focus his magical powers the Master Theurge must sacrifice some divine and arcane spells. He chooses ten prohibited cleric domains. The spells listed on a prohibited domain's spell list are treated like spells belonging to a prohibited school of arcane magic. He must also choose one more prohibited school of arcane magic, and is no longer able to Turn/Rebuke Undead. In exchange the Master Theurge gains the feat Spell Mastery for any spell he knows from his specialized school of magic, and no longer applies an arcane spell failure chance while casting arcane spells in armor.

Theurge Specialist: When the Master Theurge casts from his list of known arcane spells or list of granted divine spells, his effective caster level is the sum of all of his spellcasting classes(even if this exceeds his character level).

Master Theurge: A Master Theurge eighth level or higher can now spontaneously convert any prepared arcane spell into any spell he knows from his specialized school of magic of equal level. He can also spontaneously convert any prepared divine spell into any spell from his domain spell lists of equal level.
