Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster) The hood of this cloak is the only portion normally visible. As a full turn the wearer can activate it causing the hood to draw closed and the cloak flow down to enshroud the body. When the hood is lifted the cloak flies open revealing an amazing transformation. The effects of alter self ("change appearance" effect only) and disguise self are applied simultaneously, the effect does not require concentration and has a duration of 1 hour. To discern that you are disguised, a creature can use its action to inspect your appearance and must succeed on an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC, unless you have drastically altered your equipment the creature inspecting you has disadvantage, no check is allowed if you have only made minor alteration to yourself. The DM makes final decision of what constitutes drastic and minor changes. |
