During the Wars of Law and Chaos, the formal imperial wizard Ecklus broke away from the Emperor to rule this land. He hired large forces of goblin and hobgoblin mercenaries. Eventually he refused to pay the goblins, instead insisting that he be worshipped as a god. The goblins turned on him and his kingdom, and in this land, created the Feral Nation.
Since that revolution, the goblins of the world have migrated to this region to lay claims to a land of their own.

Maig Bab is a rocky, cold realm amid frozen swamps, tundra, and pine forests. The creatures here are large and hostile, including mammoth, cave bear, and wooly rhinoceros.
