This character is adept at aquiring a multitude of minions to use in his army.

Race: Mindflayer (illithid)
Templates: Half Dragon (doesn't matter which type), Vampiric Dragon

[edit] Feats
Important feats include Corpsecrafter and all feats with it as a prerequisite, Empower Turning, Heighten Turning, Mother Cyst, and Fell Animate. Note that the Mindflayer gives three bonus feats chosen by the character. Of course, adding Leadership and Tyrant (from the Feats book) just adds to the chaos!
[edit] Spells, Powers, Items
Important spells include Animate Dead, all spells with Mother Cyst as a focus (the names of which all begin with Necrotic), Create Undead, and Create Greater Undead. No powers except Mindlink are important because you only have levels in the Psion class to meet the prerequisites of the Thrallherd prestige class.

The cleric domains chosen should be Deathbound and Undeath.

When acquiring minions for your thrall-herd, be sure to get minions who have any Leadership-type feat or who have taken levels in the Thrallherd prestige class. That way your minions can have minions!
