Lizard Kings (or Queens) are a consequence of Sarrukh \ Khaasta war, and descend from breeding between fiends and lizardfolk. They are named so because they are usually found as rulers of their tribes, tyrants of ruthlessness and cleverness.
Play a Lizard King if you want...
- To combine the best and worst of lizardfolk and fiends;
- To be a glorious and feared leader who sticks terror in its foes;
- To be a member of a race that favors the Warlord, Ardent, Sorcerer, cleric, and Barbarian classes.
[edit] Physical Qualities
Lizard Kings resemble lizardfolk, but they have many variable fiendish traits that make them distinguishable from others. Such traits include glowing eyes, horns, spikes, small bat-like wings, frills, and elongated fangs, etc. They are stronger and bulkier than other reptilians which makes them far more vicious in battle. They are among the most feared of their kind.
[edit] Playing a Lizard King
despite being mostly evil, there are some Lizard Kings who are neutral and a very small number even good, even if their vicious nature always comes out. Lizard Kings have a morbid taste for sentient beings's flesh, and this is the punishment for weaker subordinates who disagree with an evil (and sometimes neutral) lizard king. to advance in the lizard king hierarchy the quickest way is 'kill and eat the one above you'. neutral and good lizard kings mostly consume slain enemies to contain their fiendish hunger. even the most evil lizard king, however, cares of the tribe\group it rules, and tribes under lizard king rule are always strongest and more advanced than others, even prisoners could be prized with freedom or entrance in the tribe, even if grudgingly, if they make brave deeds such as saving fellows or the lizard king itself. this still does not prevent said lizard king from ripping the heart out of a disagreeing subordinate's chest and eat it right in front of it while still beating. so a lizard king adventurer would probably care to find fine equipment for itself and then for its comrades, even if this is more for tactical advantage reasons than altruism. tribes of humanoids(mostly lizardfolk) sometimes dislike the cruelty of lizard king rulers, but are still happy of them for their charisma and leader wisdom, or just because every lizardfolk who proves itself stronger than the lizard king is bribed of killed. evil lizard kings see any scaleless as food or a useful tool, neutral and good ones still have said appetite but struggle to keep it shut down, and could be able to make friends if they disagree with the brutal lifestyle of their fellows. Lizard kings show an ounce of respect for khaasta and firenewts, mostly for fear.
Lizard King Characteristics: violent, despotic, vicious, wise, gluttonous, caring, with a taste for sentient flesh, arrogant, responsible.
Male Names: same as Lizardfolk.
Female Names: same as Lizardfolk.
