Weapon (lance), legendary (requries attunement)

It is said this weapon was once used the archangel, Michael, to slay Lucifer and demonic princes. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic lance.

When you hit a celestial (or angelic creature) with this lance, the weapon deals an extra 2d6 necrotic damage, and the damage from your attack ignores any damage resistance or immunity. At the start of the celestial's next turn, it must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or be stunned, coughing up black liquid. If a celestial succeeds this saving throw, it is immune to this stunning effect for the next 24 hours.

When you hit a fiend (or demonic creature) with this lance, the weapon deals an extra 3d6 radiant damage. If such a creature is reduced to 0 hit points by this weapon, it is utterly destroyed, and does not benefit from any features which would normally trigger when it dies or is reduced to 0 hit points.
